When it came time to do a brand overhaul for Associated Hair Professionals, we need we needed to do a lot of research first to understand this member and this market. After nearly a year of surveys, market research, member interviews, and brand discussions by the AHP team, what we found was that hairstylists, barbers, and others in the hair industry are incredible entrepreneurs that work extremely hard to set up and run their businesses. They are socially-savvy, determined, and short on time. What they really want is an association that is straight-forward, gives them the tools they need to make their lives easier, and fights for them when needed. 
The AHP brand and logo design is now based on that bold, hard-working, revolution-inspiring spirit.
