Over a 6 month period I acted as Creative Director and Designer with input from both the Craftsy and Jo-Ann teams to create a collaborative, versatile, and functional experiential design to implement in a local six-store test market in Colorado. The project launched on March 7, 2015 and resulted in 1000+ new registrations per month for Craftsy and a 345% increase in engagement for Jo-Ann.
This was one of my first experiential design projects, and challenged me to bring in and develop skills I didn't know I had. From bridging the ideas of two different teams, to sourcing props and furniture, creating 3D signage, and project management to organizing the installation. I learned so much.
This project was a team effort with Chris Hawksley — Director of Business Development, Virginia Fuller — Director of Brand Development, and Mykl Gormley — Graphic Designer.
